Title: Mercy of Radha and Krsna

User: Igor     Date: 2007-06-04 14:31:37

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

All glories to Srilla Prabhupada!

All glories to Swami Gaurangapada!

All glories to Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas!

Dear Gurudeva, I found explanation that by singing the glories of Krsna one can attain the lotus feet of Srimati Radharani and by singing Her glories one can attain  lotus feet of Krsnacandra. Srila Narottama dasa Thakura also writes:

krsna-nama gane bhai, radhika-carana pai

radha-nama gane krsnacandra

O brother, by chanting Krsna's name you will attain Sri Radha, and by chanting Sri Radha's name you will attain Krsnacandra. (Sri-Radha-Nistha verse 4)

Is it simmilar that by chanting Nityananda Naam we are getting mercy of Gauranga Mahaprabhu  , and by chanting Gaura Naam we are getting mercy of Nitaicandra  ?

Also I heard one comment that Lord's name should alweys be chanted with His sakti - Hare Krsna, or Hare Rama, and that when we are chanting Gauranga there is no sakti, or Radha. My answer was that - sri krsna caitanya radha krsna nahe anya - there is also Radha's Name in  Gaura Naam. Is this correct understanding?

All glories to you!

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

Is it similar that by chanting Nityananda Naam we are getting mercy of Gauranga Mahaprabhu  , and by chanting Gaura Naam we are getting mercy of Nitaicandra

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Guru Parampara! Pranams  and Blessings !  You are absolutely right. There is no one in this creation who loves Nityananda Naam more dearly than Lord Gaurahari and vice versa. And by chanting Hari Naama, we get the mercy of both.

Lord Nityananda is Lord Gauranga's Sandhini (Sat) Shakti and Shrila Gadadhara in the form of Shrimati Radhika is Lord Gauranga Krishna's Hladini (Pleasure) Shakti (Potency). So Nityananda Gauranga Naam or Gaura Gadadhara Naam both include the Shakti and Shaktimaana. Nityananda Gauranga Naam is more accessible and easily merciful to the fallen conditioned souls.
