dear swamiji , in the third shower of this work by srila visvanatha cakravarti thakura, it states simply reciting this mantra gives all perfection :
the mantra is a ten syllable mantra ,
visesato darsarno 'yam japa-matrena siddhida
it states this but does not give a translation of the meaning of the mantra , would you please enlighten us in this .
your servant always ,
Answer by Swami Gaurangapada:
This is the same Mantra as the ten-syllable Mantra received by Lord Gauranga at the time of initiation from Shrila Ishvara Puri Mahashaya: gopijana-vallabhaya svaha.
visesato darshano 'yam japa-matrena siddhida is not the Mantra but a description of the Mantra meaning that by chanting this Mantra in japa, one gets the specific perfection of seeing the Lord face to face.
