Title: Vani Vaibhava and Jaiva Dharma reading

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Dear Swami Gaurangapada, I have a couple questions about something from the book list you compiled. One of the books you suggest reading is Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava and I am just completing the first volume. Should I read the 2nd and 3rd volumes also? Also you say to read the first part of Jaiva dharma, but I only see 40 chapters so which chapter should I end on? I figure that you have us stop early on some of these books because they deal with advanced spiritual emotions and unless one is conversant with these and very swanlike then we may commit offenses by trying to understand them according to our limited material perceptions and mistakengly attribute material considerations on these extremely exalted transcendental subject matters which would in turn lead to offense and painful reactions. Thank you for the time. Your servant, Jagannatha Gauranga dasa. ę Less: ""]More Ľ[URL=""

Dear Jagannatha Gauranga dasa, I am so happy that you have read the first volume of Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava. It is perhaps the most condensed form of nectarean knowledge from the pen of Seventh Goswami Shrila Sacchidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura in the form of questions and answers. The depth and authority of Shrila Bhaktivinodaís writings is unmatched in the modern times and all of that has been condensed and summarized in Bhaktivinoda Vani Vaibhava. I read it in the original Bengali but thanks to Ishvara [URL="http:///" to translate and publish it into English. Even I hanker to read this holy book regularly. Please go ahead and complete reading all the volumes of Bhaktivinoda Vani vaibhava. Vaibhava means the supremely opulence so one becomes fortunate by reading this great work.

As for Jaiva Dharma, you can read till Chp 25. Chp 26 onwards in Rasa Vichara Arambha, beginning of Rasa discussions which you can take up at a later advanced stage in your reading and progress. Thankyou.
