Gurudeva,please accept my humble obiesances at your lotus feet.

 

Great devotees have sacrificed everything  Lord Krishna. Shrila Bali Mahraja sacrifised the instructuons of His Gurudeva for Lord Vamana. Why did Shrila Shukracharya give Him an order not to give Lord Vamana 3 places to keep His feet.

and further Lord Krishna says that one should always listen to ones Gurudeva.

pls explain this pastime.

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Shukracharya himself proved that he is not a Guru when he told Shrila Bali Maharaja not to surrender everything to Lord Vishnu because the real bonafide Guru never tells the disciple not to surrender to the Lord. Bogus "Gurus" pose themselves as God and order the disciples to surrender to them as they claim to be God. Shukracharya may have been selfishly thinking that if Shrila Bali Maharaja surrenders everything to the Lord, he will have nothing to give him. So one should surrender to and serve the bonafide Guru who is a genuine devotee of the Lord and teaches complete surrender to the Lord.
