Gurudeva please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet
dandavats at lotus feet of all devotees
In Navadvipa Dhama Mahatmya Ch2 Pramana Khanda, Parvati devi asks Lord Shiva about Lord Gauranga, Lord Shiva said.
aho 'ti-bhagyam tava saila-putri
†††† radha-samam tvam hi jagada visnuh
†††† yogyasi krishnarpita-deha-buddhih
†††† shri-mahadevah-Lord Siva; uvaca-said; ahah-O; ati-bhagyam-great good fortune; tava-of you; saila-putri-O daughter of the mountains; radha-to Radha; samam-equal; tvam-you; hi-indeed; jagada-said; visnuh-Lord Vishnu; shri-krishna-chaitanya-of Lord Krishna Chaitanya; kathasu-in the topics; kante-O beloved; yogya-qualified; asi-you are; krishna-to Lord Krishna; arpita-offered; deha-body; buddhih-and intelligence.
†††† O daughter of the mountains, you are very fortunate. Lord Vishnu Himself has said that you are equal to Shri Radha. O beloved, because you have surrendered your body and intelligence to Lord Krishna you are qualified to hear about Lord Krishna Chaitanya
yasyasti bhaktir vraja-raja-putre
†††† shri-radhikayam ca hareh samayam
†††† harer abhaktasya na vai kadacit
†††† yasya-of whom; asti-is; bhaktih-devotion; vraja-raja-putre-to the son of the king of Vraja; shri-radhikayam-to Shri Radha; ca-and; hareh- to Lord Hari; samayam-equal; tasya-of him; asti-is; chaitanya-about Lord Chaitanya; katha-topics; adhikarah-qualified; hareh-to Lord Hari; abhaktasya-of one not devoted; na-not; vai-indeed; kadacit-ever.
†††† A person who is devoted to Lord Krishna, the prince of Vraja, and to Shri Radha, who is equal to Lord Hari, is qualified to hear about Lord Krishna Chaitanya. A person not devoted to Lord Krishna is never qualified.
But in Chaitanya Bhagvata, at time of Lords Gauranga's appearance, the Bramhana sad that even hardcore athiests will worship this boys(Lords) lotus feet.Jagai & Madhai were not† devotees of Lord Krishna yet they recieved Lord Nitai Gauranga. Even the Bramhana thief who wanted to steal from Lord Nityananda, the merchants of Saptagrama, the Chand Kazi, the list is endless.
What does Lord Shiva actually mean when He says about qualification? Devotion and worship of Radha Krishna needs qualification, so does it mean that fallen souls can never become qualified to† hear about Lord Chaitanya? But in Parikrama Khanda, it is said Gaura-lila is most suitable for kali yuga souls.
In all scriptures its said that Lord Gauranga Nityananda are most meciful and accept worship of everyone.
Due to the apparant contradiction, I am confused. Statements of scriptures can never† contradictory, but due to fallen condition i am unable to understand. Please explain.
aspiring to be humble servant of lotus feet
