Title: Lord Nityananda and Advaita Acharya

User: Swami Gaurangapada Date: 2006-11-18 11:57:00

It says in Chaitanya Bhagavata, Madya-khanda Chapter 6, that Lord

Nityananda and Advaita Acharya are non-different, I just came accross

this. What do I make of this?

"hena nitai bina bhai radha-krishna paite nai"

That without the mercy of Lord Nityananda, no one can attain Shri Shri Radha

and Krishna.

Answer by Swami Gaurangapada:

†††† Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! The Supreme Lord Nityananda-Balarama is the very first expansion of Lord Gauranga-Krishna and the source of all Vishnu plenary expansions in the spiritual and material world.

Lord Advaita Acharya is the combined incarnation of Lord Sadashiva in the spiritual creation and Lord Mahavishnu in the material creation and Lord Sadashiva and Lord Mahavishnu are the expansions of the expansions of Lord Nityananda-Balarama. Thus Lord Advaita Acharya is non-diferent from Lord Nityananda-Balarama and simultaneously Lord Nityananda is the origin of Lord Advaita. This is known as achintya bhedaabheda tattva, the philosophy of inconceivable and simultaneous oneness and difference which is revealed by the Supreme Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu.
