Answer by Swami Gaurangapada:

Don't worry, the symptom of a genuine devotee is that he or she does not takeany offense ever or forgives others even before the offense has beencommited.

The devotee who commits an offense has to have a genuine and remorseful heartof repentance and beg forgiveness to the devotee and the Holy Name (NamaPrabhu). And one should take determined shelter of the constant chanting of theHoly Names. Then all will be well.
