Swami, i am confused with the audio ebook of the stotram which you postedrecently. some of the pronounciation of the 12 names in the verses are differentfrom the meaning of the 12 names. how come nityananda is pronounced asnityanando in the verse? which 12 names are the correct pronounciation?

Answer by Swami Gaurangapada:

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Gauranga Dharma! Jaya ShrilaPrabhupada! Pranams and Blessings!

Thank you so much for your downloading, hearing and chanting the 12 HolyNames of Lord Nityananda. In Sanskrit the vocative address of Radha becomesRadhe and so on. So sometimes when the Holy Names are used as a part of theSanskrit verse which is the case in these 12 Holy Names, a vocative is used. OrSanskrit conjuncts are used to compose the verse so the Name may appear joinedto another word and thus a little different so as it fit properly in theSanskrit verse. So you do not need to be confused. Just chant the 12 Holy Names in the formof the original verses because it is a Sanskrit Stotra or Hymn composed of the12 Holy Names. We have just broken them Name by Name and given the meanings. Fordaily chanting you should use the original verses and chant nityanando...
