Krishna Temple

Nityananda! Gauranga!
Hare Krishna!
Dear Swami Gaurangapada
Maharaja, dear guests and devotees, please accept my humble obeisances.
As most of you already
must know, there were some bomb attacks in the Hare Krishna Tempel in Manipur,
India during the Janmashtami Festival last week.
I think 5 people were
killed and over 50 other people were injured. Fortunately due to Lord Krishna's
mercy, two bombs which had been thrown in the tempel room didn't explode...
Please let us pray for
the devotees, who were afflicted by these bomb attacks as well as for the
attackers, so that the Lord may have mercy with them as not to let them suffer
so immensely due to the henious offense they commited.
On the other hand, I
would like to kindly ask Swami Gaurangapada to give His knowledge and
realisations about the fact that the Lord let something like this happen to His
devotees (on Janmashtami...).
Thank You very much,
Yours sincerely,
Matus.

Nityananda! Gauranga!
Hare Krishna! Jaya Guru Parampara! :pranams: Pranams! and :bless: Blessings! I
have already offered my strong and intense prayers to Lord Nityananda for the
dead and injured devotees. May Lord Gaurahari protect all the sincere devotees
in this life and the next! It is a very sad and shocking happening. When a
sincere devotee is killed, it means that Lord Nityananda wants to quickly put
that devotee in another situation in the material or spiritual world (as
applicable) which will be even more favorable than the present situation of
that soul for the performance of Naam bhajan. When a devotee is injured, it
means that Lord Nityananda is arranging for some special spiritual purification
of that soul or to glorify a devotee who will become even more steadfast and
shine in the face of injury or tribulation and come more closer to Him after
passing this test.
