Ashraya Diksha is given
when the disciple is not able to immediately follow the regulative principles
but wants to take shelter of chanting the Naam under the mercy and guidance of
Gurudeva. Here the word Diksha means a Vow of chanting daily taken in presence
of Gurudeva. This is the practical implementation of Shrila Rupa Goswami's
first limb of bhakti in Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu: adau guru ashrayam...
When a disciple or
devotee is following the regulative principles, the Diksha which he or she
receives is full-fledged Nityananda Gauranga Naam or Hari Naam Diksha depending
on the stage of Naam Diksha which he or she is accepting as per the Naam Yoga
Stages on our website. Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Jaya Guru Parampara!
