Title: Relationship of Lords Nitai and Gauranga

Dear Swami Gaurangapada, Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Please accept my humble obeisances at Your Lotus Feet.

 

I would like to ask You the following question: As far as i know The Transcendental Lord Nityananda is the abode of all rasas and He can award any of them to us (where in the scriptures?) ... But i wonder, what relationship do the Supreme Lords Nityananda and Gauranga have together? Do They reciprocate in some specific rasa? Especially Lord Nityananda towards Lord Gauranga...

 

And another thing i would like to know: I think Lord Nityananda is also manifested in a form of a gopi. What's her name?

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Lord Nityananda relishes both the mellows of fraternity (sakhya or brotherhood) and parental (vatsalya) due to being the elder brother of Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Lord Nityananda also expands as the Lord's clothing, ornaments, bed, etc. so He serves in shanta (neutrality) mellow also. And He also feels Himself the servant (dasya) of Lord Gauranga which is He expands in many ways to serve the Lord. In regards to the madhurya or conjugal mellow, He does not participate directly but through the expansion of His eternal consort Shrimati Jahnava devi who becomes Shrimati Ananga Manjari, the younger sister of Shri Shrimati Radhika. But He is fully aware and cognizant of the conjugal mellow and can give that to the souls. That is why Shrila Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya states in his 108 Names that it is Lord Nityananda Balarama is the One who gives the Radhika Mantra to all the souls or entry into the madhurya pastimes of Shri Shri Radha Krishna. Thus, Lord Nityananda's Name, Pastimes & Abode is the ultimate and only sureshot means to get entry into the highest realms of the spiritual world.
