Title: Naam Guru and Offenses

I was catching up reading with all past articles. Will you please explain the following paragraph in "Naam Guru" subject on November 15, 2006.
"The Naam given by the Naam Diksha Guru to the disciple destroys all the past karma instantly. It is the 10 offenses in Krishna Naam and the sins which are commited by the disciple after Diksha that the Guru and the disicple both have to suffer for. Seventh Goswami Shrila Saccidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura states that the sins in connection to the 10 offenses have no atonement and only incessant Naam can destroy them thus making the sins due to the 10 offenses as the highest sins in creation."
I am not sure I understand this. I am requesting for you to elaborate some more in this content. Thank you very much.
Yours in Krishna's service,

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Please tell me what is exactly not clear in this and I will explain. Basically the mundane sins are destroyed by the Naam simply by vibrating the Naam even before initiation. Naam Diksha speedens up the process of getting Naam Prema. But when we start chanting regularly, the ten offenses to Krishna Naam and the offense of Vaishnava Aparadha to Gauranga Naam come into the picture. These offenses have to be conscientiously avoided by individual effort as only constant chanting of Krishna Naam or faithful chanting of Nityananda Naam can remove them.
