Q. By Michael Lakey: Hare Krishna, respectful obeiscences to Shrila Gaurangapada.

Could you please explain a little about Lord Nityananda not only in terms of His importance in relation with Lord Chaitanya, but also about some historical background or biography on the personage ~ if there is any available?

This may perhaps help some to relate more practically with Lord Nityananda and realize more fully His importance with regard to the Gauranga and Nityananda mantras. Many thanks for supplying such a tremendous wealth of devotional information through the website. Hare Krishna.

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! That's a nice suggestion. We are already working on it and if you could wait for a month then we should have an elaborate and exclusive Website and eBook ready on the life and pastimes of Lord Nityananda Prabhu with pictures etc. from Shri Chaitanya Bhagavata. If you need to read it before that, please let me know and I will send you the eBook file by email. Shri Chaitanya Bhagavata describes the life and pastimes of Lord Nityananda elaborately but not in one place but in different Chapters throughout the three Khandas.
