3.1What is time?


Philosophers widely disagree to have a convergent thought on time dimension. Some philosophers like Zeno & McTaggart [16] opine that Time is nothing, because it does not exist, whereas others like Descartes [17] opine that Time is a mere mode of thought as it is the mind's imposition of a conventional measure, abstracted from the regular motions of the heavens, upon generic duration. Yet, all things (including creator & created), endure in a successive manner, independent of measures, so long as they exist. In general, we find most of the philosophers agreeing that time exist but they do not agree on what it is.
