6.Loop quantum gravity (LQG): It is the fruit of the effort to formulate a background-independent quantum theory. In LQG, the fabric of space-time is a foamy network of interacting loops mathematically described by spin-networks. These loops are about 10-35 (to the power) meters in size, called the Plancks scale. Refer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loop_quantum_gravity for more details.

7.String theory: It is a physical model whose fundamental building blocks are extended objects (strings, membranes and higher-dimensional objects) rather than points. For details refer: Brain Greene, The Elegant Universe, New York, 1999.

8M-theory: Theory emerging from the second superstring revolution that unites the previous five superstring theories within a single overarching framework. M-theory appears to be a theory involving eleven space-time dimensions, although many of its detailed properties have yet to be understood. For details refer: Brain Greene, The Elegant Universe, New York, 1999.
