About the Author
Ayush Goyal is pursuing his PhD at the University of Oxford in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Modeling of Biological Systems. He has won a £30,000/year (Rs. 24 lakh / year) Clarendon Scholarship for his doctoral research. His research interests include Human versus Computer Cognition, Ethics of Computer Chip Implantation in Human Subjects, Social Repercussions of Genomic Engineering, and Distinguishing Humans from Computers in the Bionic Era. Goyal is working with the Oxford Center for Hindu Studies, which provides an excellent association of scholars and experts in the fields of ethics, theology, and philosophy, which Goyal wishes to bridge with the world of computer science to tackle ethical issues in technological applications.
