4.1 Spirituality must be spread irrespective
of the source where it originated
The greatness of the Bhagavad-gita is the greatness of the universe.
— Juan Mascaro
The reason for including these comments is to show that intelligent and impartial men and women exist everywhere. We have to take interest in their work, know them, and propagate their thoughts to others. Then, new souls will emerge who understand and who will help in further propagation. Also, as I emphasized at the outset, we have to spread spirituality irrespective of the source, i.e., irrespective of the religion, person, or group from which a particular spiritual fact emerged into human consciousness. Vedanta is important, because it is a massive part of what the world knows about spirituality, and also because of the rationality of and the scientific support for documents like the Bhagavad-gita and the Upanishads. But, Indian spirituality (including Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and so on) is only a part of the total knowledge of Spirituality possessed by man.
