Shri Madhyadwip
Sri Madhyadwip, the fourth island of Sri Navadwip Dham, embodies
the devotional mellow of smaranam or remembering the transcendental pastimes of
the Lord. It is situated on the southern side of Sri Godrumadwip. Madhyadwip is
locally called Magailagram. It contains the residence of the seven sages:
Marici, Atri, Angira, Purnima, Artu, Pulastya and Vasistha, as well as
Naimisaranya, Push-kara Tirtha, Uchahatta, Hamsa Shiva, and Panchaveni.
