Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! As we approach the most Auspicious Holy Appearance Day of the Supreme Lord Nityananda Prabhu, loving addressed as Mahaprabhu by Shrila Vrindavana dasa Thakura, I felt my chanting becoming more and more intense.
I have always felt that my chanting is a prayer to Lord Nityananda Prabhu to deliver me, as it is He who is my only hope. He is everything to me... dhana mora nityananda.
My prayer to Lord Nityananda Prabhu is this:
kabe gaura nityananda bali, lavana sagara tate
nachiya gaiya beraibo chute.
"When will I dance and loudly sing His Holy Names with the Holy Names of His Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu, on the shore of the salt-water ocean in Shri Jagannatha Puri Dhama, forgetting all other considerations including my own body."
Prabhu means Master and Lord Nityananda is my undebatable Master, my life and my soul. No one can deny this. Without Him and His Holy Name, I will not be able to live even a moment. I would prefer one moment of life with the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda, then millions of years of life without. Without the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda constantly on my tongue, I would feel as if I am simply increasing the burden of this earth.
May the vision of that divine courtyard, lake and tree in the home of Shrimati Padmavati-devi and Shriman Hadai Pandita in Shri Ekachakraa Dhama (6 hours by road from Navadvipa Dhama), where Lord Nityananda advented from the spiritual world and performed His pastimes, always arise and remain in my heart and eyes!
May I mentally roll on the ground on His courtyard and mentally take bath in the Nitai lake there, while chanting very loudly Nityaaananda! This is my only desire. I never want to loose this vision. Anyone who has not visited Ekachakraa Dhama cannot fully understand the limits of Lord Nityananda's mercy! But do not worry, by thinking of most merciful Ekachakraa Dhama from anywhere in the world, one get the same benefit as by being there.
I will end now so that I can continue to chant Nityaaanda and wish the Lord a very happy and blissful Birthday in my heart though I am feeling that my wishing Him is like showing a tiny lamp to the sun. I hope He accepts it. Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
