Nityananda Nama -- By Swami Gaurangapada

Shrila Vrindavana Dasa Thakura in Shri Nityananda Charitamrita Antya Khanda Chp 13:

abhimana duranta tathi na pai krishna rati

iha jani nityananda karaha bhakati

yahara prasade pamara paila nistara

hena prabhu nama haya hauka galara

“Every devotee should understand that the false ego is the most difficult to transcend in this world and without the destruction of false ego no one can achieve Krishna Rati or spontaneous attachment to Lord Krishna. Knowing and understanding this point, please devotedly worship Lord Nityananda Prabhu, the supreme destroyer of our false ego. Due to His mercy the most fallen and destitute people have been extricated from material existence. Thus I implore you to wear the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda constantly around your neck as a necklace by chanting it incessantly.”

jaya jaya nityananda premamaya dhama

svabhave parama suddha nityananda nama

jagata tarana hetu yanra avatara

ye jana na bhaje sei papera akara

“All Glories to Lord Nityananda Prabhu who is supreme abode of the astonishing mellows of pure love for Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu. Thus by the very nature, the Holy Name of Lord Nityananda is supremely pure and transcendental. Lord Nityananda and His Holy Name have advented to deliver the whole creation. Thus one who does not worship Lord Nityananda through the chanting of His Holy Name is the personified form of all sin.”

Song by Shrila Vrindavana Dasa Thakura:

mana nityananda bali daka

emana dayala prabhu ara na paibe kabhu

hrdaya kamale kari rakha

“My dear mind, please call out the Holy Name of Nityananda ceaselessly. You will never find such a supremely merciful Master and Personality like Lord Nityananda Prabhu in the whole creation. So please desperately hold on to His Holy Name in your heart always.”
