Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! All glories to Swami Gaurangapada! All glories to Shrilla Prabhupada, Shrilla Bhaktisidhantha Sarasvati Thakura, Shrilla Bhaktivinoda Thakura and whole Guru Parampara! Param vijayate shri krishna sankirtanam!
In his famous song about Lord Gauranga - Savarna Shri Gaura Mahima, Shrilla Narrotama das Thakura is giving us, fallen and pitiful, offensive souls of Kali yuga advice and recipe how we can actually obtain prema – pure devotional service -
je gaurangera nama loy, tara hoy premodoy,
tare mui jai bolihari.

"One who chants the Holy Name of 'Gauranga' instantly awakens his or her dormant pure love for Lord Krishna. I (Narottama) worship such a person and surrender to him."

After hearing this statement of our great acharya Shrilla Narottama das Thakura we should be very, very happy! Actually, we should dance in ecstasy! Why? Because -tara hoy premodoy – by chanting Holy Name Gauranga we will instantly awaken our dormant pure love for Lord. How is this possible?

Someone may chant Maha Mantra for long period of time and have desire to attain prema, but here Narottama Thakura states that simply by chanting Gauranga, we may get that desired goal instantly! So, how is this possible? Only explanation is that in chanting Gauranga Naam there are no offenses, no hindrances, and therefore our spiritual advancement is very, very fast. Then we can chant Hare Krishna without offenses.

We should put this elixir, this recipe - je gaurangera nama loy, tara hoy premodoy – in deepest core of our hearth and regularly drink ambrosial Gauranga Naam. That is instruction and advice of our great acharya Shrilla Narottama das Thakura. Therefore, without any delay we should chant and dance – Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
