Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

All glories to Swami Gaurangapada! All glories to Srilla Prabhupada!

In his purport on CC.Antya 3.139 Srilla Prabhupada wrote:

"In our Krishna consciousness movement we are teaching our followers to chant the Hare Krishna mantra continuously on beads. Even those who are not accustomed to this practice are advised to chant at least sixteen rounds on beads so they may be trained.... Sada means 'always.' Haridasa Thakura says nirantara nama lao: 'Chant the Hare Krishna mantra without stopping' " (Cc. Antya 3.139, purport).

So, let us chant in hope that one day we will be able to chant withouth stopping.

Yes, Igor. Our goal should be to chant constantly at some stage in our lives, atleast in older age. This was wonderfully demonstrated by none other than Shrila Thakura Bhaktivinoda, who became fully absorbed into the pastimes of the Lord by chanting constantly in the last four years of his manifest presence.

But that does not mean that we don't try right now to chant or hear constantly. We should always endeavor for that. We can try to hear kirtans or katha when we are not chanting and engaged in our day to day activities.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

Thank you Gurudeva for your kind comment. Yes, kirtaniya sada hari... We should constantly chant Holy Names. This life is short and if we do not train ourselves in chanting and hearing Gauranga-Krsna katha, how we will be able to chant constantly in old age? Therefore, we do not have time to waste.Death may come in this moment! In whatever position we are in present, let us chant and hear as much is possiable. Grhe thako vane thako sada hari bole dako...
