It is a common and practical experience that if we call out the name of some particular person in his or her presence, this person reacts and immediately a connection is being established bewteen us and this person. The same applies to the calling of Lord's Holy Names. The Lord is omnipresent and He is present in our heart as the Supersoul. So if want to connect with Him, we have to approach our own heart, the place where He is present, and then simply call out His Holy Name with sincerity and faith." - Matus

That's a very striking analogy. Extremely beautiful. You are perfectly right. It means you are thinking deeply about the glories of Naam. If a devotee calls out to the Lord by any other means, it may not be sure if the Lord will respond or not, but when the devotee calls out the Holy Names of Lord with feeling, the Lord cannot resist Himself from directly responding to that devotee according to his or her devotion in chanting Naam. Thus Naam is the 100% sureshot means to attain the Naami. Naam becomes the goal Naami for the pure self-realized chanter. Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
