Mixed devotion and spiritual world

Post Author: Bhakta Igor    Date: 2008-01-23 10:01:20
Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna
Dear Gurudeva, and other devotees, is it possible that karma-misra bhakta or gyana-misra bhakta, devotee who is not pure, but have mixed or impure devotion, to attain spiritual world? Or such 'unperfect' devotee must take birth again to attain pure devotional service?

Also another question - I have heard that nowone is going to spiritual Goloka directly, for example jiva must first take another birth in material universe where Lord have it's pastimes, and only after that jiva may enter spiritual world. Is this correct?

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

Dear Bhakta Igor,

I believe that in a previous post Swami has answered these so I will share what I remember. One must attain perfection before going back to the spiritual world and that is one of the reasons one incarnates with the Lord in his pastimes in this material world, to attain that complete perfection. Swami said that in some rare cases one may go directly to the spiritual world. Personally I want to be born where Gauranga and Krishna's pastimes are taking place because some pastimes he performs only in the material world like his early childhood and killing of demons. Personally I'd like to see all these pastimes before I go home unless I am one of those demons :D

Thank you so much Jagganatha Gauranga Prabhu dasa on your answer. Sometimes only to glorify Supreme Lord and to start Gauranga-Krsna katha among other jivas/devotees, devotee may ask different spiritual questions despite that he or she know or do not know answer or that answer was given before. Supreme Lord Gauranga is origin of all knowledge, but he nevertheless asked Ramananda Raya many different spiritual questions about bhakti. Topics about Supreme Lord are ever new and fresh and we should always talk about them. We can see in Bhagavatam; sages of Naimisaranya asked many similar questions many times in Bhagavatam just to emphasize importance and to glorify Lord. Thank you very much for your answer.Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

Generally such a devotee must take rebirth to reach the stage of pure devotional service as Vaikuntha is a place only for those are 100% pure of the false ego. But if some a devotee leaves his or her body in the Dhaama or the Holy Abode of the Lord's Pastimes or leaves his or her body specifically while offenselessly chanting or hearing the Holy Names of Nityaananda, Gauraanga and Hare Krishna or best is both simultaneously, then Lord Gauranga Krishna may decide to directly take that soul to the spiritual world.

Also another question - I have heard that nowone is going to spiritual Goloka directly, for example jiva must first take another birth in material universe where Lord have it's pastimes, and only after that jiva may enter spiritual world. Is this correct?

Yes, that is correct. It depends on the desire of the Lord though. The Lord may decide to bypass this for a specific soul and take the soul directly to Vaikuntha also is He so wills.

Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.

Thank you so much for your answer.

"or leaves his or her body specifically while offenselessly chanting or hearing the Holy Names "

In Bhagavatam we can find great example of Ajamila. What to say then about devotee who is chanting Nityananda Gauranga and Hare Krsna with concentration and devotion!
