Dearest Swami Gaurangapada,
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

You gave us in Your article "From Name to Pastimes" following instruction:

"Even while chanting the Hare Krishna Mahamantra, one can meditate on
Hare as Gadadhara, Krishna as Gauranga, Hare as Jahnava in the second
line and Rama as Nityananda. This is recommended for the neophyte devotees
because the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra becomes offenseless
if one accompanies the chanting of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra with
meditation on Lords Nityananda-Gauranga in the beginning."

I am trying to follow Your advice, yet it seem a little bit difficult for me, because I don't know so much about the Holy Relations & Pastimes of Their Lordships Sri-Sri-Jahnava-Nityananda and Sri-Sri-Gadadhara-Gauranga.

Please, let me ask You:
- Where I can get the nectar of The Relations and Pastimes of Their Lordships Sri-Sri-Jahnava-Nityanada & Sri-Sri-Gadadhara-Gauranga?
- One picture of Sri-sri-Jahnava-Nityananda & one picture of Sri-Sri-Gadadhara-Gauranga would be so helpful! If You could please let me know where I would be able to get them.

Yours gratefully and with rising remembrance ops:

Answer by Swami Gaurangapada:

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Thank you for your query. Shrimati Jahnava devi's pastimes can be found in the books Bhakti Ratnakara, Nityananda's Pastimes, Prema Vilasa and Narottama Vilasa in the Gaurangapada VaniBase v1.0 or the VaniBase website at "" under the Category: Other Holy Scriptures by the Acharyas. A search in the VaniBase for Jahnava or Jahnavi should be able to get those hits.

Shri Gadadhara's pastimes can be found in the Shri Chaitanya Bhagavata in the VaniBase and the Shri Chaitanya Charitamrita website at ""
Please search for the word Gadadhara in the VaniBase.

For the picture of Shri Gadadhara, you can get his picture from the Pancha Tattva picture. I will try to upload one soon. Shrimati Jahnava's picture is hard to find and I will also try to see if one is available.

I hope you Mantra Meditation Chanting is going on nicely with full concentration.
