Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna
doya koro sri acharya advaita gosai tava krpa paite nai caitanya nitai
It is said that by causeless mercy of Lord Advaita, person may get mercy of Lord Nityananda and Lord Gauranga. Very often I am feeling intense feeling to chant and pray to Lord Advaita Acharya, and innerly, within my hearth I am praying for His mercy and guidance. I had read Advaita Prakasa, wonderful book about Lord Advaita Acharya, and I should advice to all devotees to read this book (it is available in Nitai Veda). Sometimes I am feeling also great, intense feelings toward Lord Shiva and chanting His Name simultaneously feeling that Lord Shiva is greatest vaisnava and eternal Guru of every soul. This feelings sometimes emerge and I do not feel that this is something contrary according to vaisnavism. I am also sometimes feeling that evan many devotees of Lord Krsna minimize or neglect Lord Shiva, thinking about Him to be demigod, or impure, or in tamo-guna. and therefore many of them are completely neglecting His real glories. It may be my subjective opinion, but I think that in modern vaisnava community glories of Lord Advaita and Lord Shiva are not accepted properly or at least are minimized in some way. Many vaisnavas are thinking that if you are talking about Lord Shiva then you are impersonalist and that is very wrong understanding. Also, position and glories of Lord Advaita Acharya are not widely, publicly known. For example many devotees reject Advaita Prakasa and preach that devotee should not read this book because it have 'errors'.
My understanding is that devotee may and should glorify, remember and honor Lord Advaita Acharya and Lord Shiva if he or she feeling that this will help in devotional service and our Naam Bhajan. Is this understanding and practice bonafide and according to principles and philosophy of Nityananda Gauranga Naam Yoga?

Nityaananda! Gauraanga! Hare Krishna! Yes, certainly..tava kripa bale paya chaitanya nitaai...without Sadashiva Lord Advaita Acharya, we would never have obtained the association and pastimes of Lords Nitaai Gauraanga. He should be worshiped as our savior in Kali Yuga and the most prominent Vaishnava and Lord who saved us by bringing Shri Shri Nitaai Gaurachandra. His pastimes can be found here as Igor stated and the good news is that there would be one more book about His pastimes in the next version of NITAAI Veda.
Daaso'smi, Swami Gaurangapada.
