Title: Does anyone have a Bhajan for Lord Balarama? User: Amiya Date: 2007-05-13 22:28:18
Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Pranams at the lotus feet of Shri Guru and Gauranga.
This question is really for anyone who can help;
we (myself and two other devotees) are creating a devotional website and we were wondering if anyone could help us get a bhajan for Lord Balarama. That is a bhajan which describes the glories of Lord Balarama specifically. Its for our Balarama page which is still under construction.
If anyone can help, please reply to this topic.
Thank you so much.
Amiya Gauranga dasi.

Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna There is beautiful mantra for Lord Balarama....
Obeisances to You, O holder of the plow! Obeisances to You, O wielder of the mace! Obeisances to You, O darling of Revati! Obeisances to You, Who are very kind to Your devotees!? namaste balinam srestha namaste dharani-dhara pralambara namas te tu ehi mam krsna-purvaja
I offer my respectful obeisances unto Lord Balarama, the best of the strong and the support of the earth. Obeisances unto You, O enemy of Pralamba! Please deliver me, O elder brother of Krsna!? I do not know if there are some specific bhajan for Lord Balarama. I hope this helps. Nityananda Gauranga Hare Krsna

I don't know where you could find a copy of one bhajan but I heard a description of one once and I can give a brief translation It being sung at the place in Vrinadavan where Krishna and the cowherd boys were taking lunch and you can still see the plates in the rock surface.
The song describes that Balarama goes out into one pool and when he is waist deep he looks down and sees his reflection, he begins to stutter "wh- wh -wh -wh -wh -wh- who is that beautiful person i see in the water"? The Bhajan also stutters in the song too!
Lord Balarama becomes stunned in ecstacy as He catches a view of His own beauty and cannot speak.
The Bhajan goes on to say that at that time krishna comes and sees Balarama standing in the middle of the pond talking to Himself and not moving, Krishna calls out that "Balarama what are you doing? I think you have been out in the hot sun for too long"!
im sorry I can't help but thought this might be appreciated anyway
