Dear Swami Gaurangapada, Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna!
While reading Nityananda Charitamrita some another queations are arising... In the Adi Khanda Chapter 3 following statement of Shrila Vrindavana Dasa Thakura appears not to be understandable so easily for me. If You could please enlighten it.
- If you find any follower of Lord Gauranga who seems to say something bad about Lord Nityananda, know what they said was actually glorification. Vaishnavas are always pure and full of knowledge. So, if there is ever any quarrel between them, know it simply to be part of their pastimes. If a person takes the side of one Vaishnava and criticizes another, then certainly he is vanquished.

As this is transcendental subject matter then i dont suppose the vanquishing spoken of has anything to do with the material or even subtle world of the mind and false ego. I would like to understand what is transcendental subject matter and how it should be used in our preaching efforts.
What is transcendence... surely it goes higher than the mind and is something that should never be used to defend or attack other living entities in any way if we are to truly embody non violence.

The quarrels between pure devotees of Lords Nityananda and Gauranga are also transcendental and are simply meant for the pleasure of Their Lordships just like the quarrels between the groups of gopies for the increasing the pleasure of Lord Krishna.
So both sides are right in such divine quarrels since both are doing it for the pleasure of the Lord and thus no one should take sides and start criticising one and praise the other.
For example the quarrels between Lord Nityananda and Lord Advaita Acharya in Shri Chaitanya Charitamrita. Externally the words appear as abuses to each other but the words have hidden spiritual meanings. So it may appear that externally Lord Advaita is critcising Lord Nityananda but actually He is glorifying and praising Lord Nityananda in a hidden way. Thus if one hastily considers that Lord Advaita is blaspheming Lord Nityananda and takes the side of Lord Nityananda and criticizes Lord Advaita then one is committing a serious folly. These divine quarrels and abuses are simply meant to increase the pleasure of the Supreme Lord Gauranga Mahaprabhu who has a keen desire to taste pure loving quarreling mellows. Ofcourse no one on a lower should imitate such quarrels and clain that his ir her quarrels are divine.
Preach the philosophical truths from the scriptures palatably and presentably. Transcendance does not hurt anyone but it is one who tries to practice transcendance may hurt oneself. Like the Vedas state: kshurasya dhara nishita duratyaya..."Practising transcendance is like walking on the blade of a razor or shaving iwth a razor." If you use the sharp razor well, you can get a clean shave in minutes but if you do not use it well you will cut yourself and start bleeding in seconds. For this it becomes necessary to practice transcendance under the guidance of an able and intelligent spiritual guide who is well-aware of all the pros and cons on how to use and how not to use the sharp razor of spiritual practice.
