Title: Human society is a beehive

Shrila Prabhupada in
Shrimad Bhagavatam 4.24.64 Purport:
"Human society is
exactly like a beehive, for everyone is engaged in
collecting honey from
various flowers, or collecting money from various
sources, and creating
large empires for common enjoyment. However, after
these empires are
created, the bites of other nations have to be suffered.
Sometimes nations declare
war upon one another, and the human beehives
become sources of misery.
Although human beings are creating their beehives
in order to enjoy the
sweetness of their senses, they are at the same time
suffering from the bites
of other persons or nations."

Nityananda! Gauranga!
Hare Krishna!
The one uniting
characteristic between all these empires is their total disregard for the laws
of nature, their ignorance of how the universe is maintained by the agents of
Vishnu. Their strong desire to Lord over this material nature is always the
cause of their destruction. Because as soon as they become concerned with their
selfish interests by encroaching upon others, harming other living entities,
and exploiting the earth for resources, then immediatiely there will be
troubles coming from others, and sometimes from even within their own, or by
natural disasters, droughts, famine, etc., the threefold miseries. Everything is creation belongs to the Lord and
should be used in his service. Even this matter can be used in the service of
the Lord and be spiritualized. Those ignorant of these facts become subjected
to so much misery.
It must be Kali Yuga.
