Nityananda!Gauranga! Hare Krishna!

All Glories to Swami Gaurangapada!

All Glories to the Guru Parampara!

All Glories to the Vaisnavas!

Its been a while since I've written so I thought I would take a moment and check in.

I'm getting excited about my move to Los Angeles. It probably won't happen until June, but I am looking forward to it and starting a new life there.

By the mercy of Sri Guru, I have been able to maintain chanting 25,000 names daily. I am very please about this. Its been a struggle, but I believe that I have been able to have a small taste of the Holy Names. My mind wanders all over the place during chanting, but there are brief moments where I get a slight flavor. Its difficult to discribe, but its beautiful and sweet.

I've been trying to get up early in the morning during the Brahma Muharta. Its definitely a challenge, but when I do I very much enjoy it. Its such a calm and peacful time of day, it feels exteremly special to be able to chant at that time. The last few days, I've gotten up and chanted for a while, but then I've given into my laziness and gone back to bed. I feel good when I can stay up and get most of my chanting done early. It gives a special quality to my day and I feel relaxed and happy that I've been able to complete my chanting early. I will strive to get up during the Brahma Muharta every day.

A couple of years ago I purchased the complete audio library of Srila Prabhupada's lectures and music. It contains so much material that I had felt rather intimidated by it and put it aside without utilizing it. This last week I've decided to  start listening to the lectures bit by bit. I will start off by listening to the Bhagavad Gita lectures. I'm able to have it running in my ipod while at work, and while I might not be able to give it my complete attention, I'm glad that I am able to have at least a little bit of it penetrate my consciousness. I feel so fortunate to be able to hear Srila Prabhupada's teachings, even though its been so long since he left the world.

I wanted to take a moment and thank Swami Gaurangapada and all my God Brothers and Sisters on this forum. It is such a blessing to me to be able to have your association here. I pray that we all may have sucess in our Gauranga Krishna Consciousness and progress very quickly.

Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! Pranams. Yes Neil, wherever we go, our success depends on the steadfastness by which we continue to chant the Holy Names of Nityananda, Gauranga and Hare Krishna. Daily hearing, nourishes and tremendously increases the quality of our Naam Bhajan. The Forum Sanga is surely inspiring and we will try to make it even more in the near future. Thanks.
