madhya-dvipa-vane sphutat-kshitidharasyopatyakasu sphuran

     nana-keli-nikunja-vithishu navonmilat-kadambadishu

bhramam bhramam ahar-nisam nanu param shri-rasa-keli-sthali-

     ramyasv eva kada prakasita-rahah-prema bhaveyam kriti

 

madhyadvipe svaratakya parvatera pase,

kadamba-mandita keli-kunja parakase

bhramite bhramite rasa-mandala dekhiya,

prema-purna haba ami sukriti smariya

 

Translation by Swami Gaurangapada:

 

“When will I become fortunate to realize confidential spiritual love for the divine couple Shri Shri Radha-Krishna, while wandering day and night through the hills and valleys of Madhyadvipa, on the pathways through the various pastime forest groves, through groves of newly blossoming kadamba trees, and through the beautiful places of the rasa dance pastimes?
