Nityananda! Gauranga! Hare Krishna! On this auspicious day of Magha Gaura Paksha Bhaimi Ekadashi, we would to announce the full launch of the one and only website exclusively dedicated to the Bhagavad Gita Rasika Commentaries of our great Gaudiya Acharyas like Shrila Vishvanatha Chakravarti Thakura and Seventh Goswami Shrila Saccidananda Bhaktivinoda Thakura at the above website address.

The commentaries of the above two Rasika Acharyas and self-realized Mahabhagavatas has been nicely translated and commented upon by His Holiness Bhaktivedanta Narayana Maharaja.

This eBook and Wesbite layout have been made possible due to efforts of Chandrika Gauranga dasi, who has single-handedly put the full Bhagavad Gita into such an accessible format on our request. We also profusely thank the Editors and disciples of His Holiness Narayana Maharaja who have translated the commentaries from Hindi to English and edited and published it.

Without reading these Commentaries, one cannot actually fully penetrate into the mysteries and depth of the Bhagavad Gita and philosphical truths about the the Speaker of the Gita and Supreme Personality of Godhead Lord Shri Krishna. Every verse and commentary on this website is linked with the translation and commentaries of Shrila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the author of the most authentic edition of Gita in the world - Bhagavad Gita As It Is. So one can switch between these commentaries simply by a mouse click and fully relish and scrutinizingly study the commentaries side and side.

One may ask why do I need to read Commentaries to understand the Gita. I can directly read the words of Lord Krishna, them why do I need Commentaries. The answer is there in Mahabharata and the Gita Itself. Mahabharata states: dharmasya tattvam nihita guhayam, mahajano yena gata sa panthah..."The real knowledge and understanding of the Bhagavad Gita and all Vedic Scriptures is actually only in one place and that is the hearts of the Mahajanas or the Acharyas. So the only means to understand the Absolute Truth is see the Lord through the eyes and thr writings of the Acharyas." Just like one can never approach the King direcly, but one has to go through the Ministers who are very close and dear to the King, similarly the only way to approach Lord Gauranga-Krishna is through the spiritual commentaries, knowledge and the mercy of the Associates of the Lord. I can go on and on for hundreds of pages about this philosophical truth but I will stop for now.

You will be happy to see that the Bhagavad Gita Website has a very classy modern look and an eye-pleasing and soothing blue design and you can navigate to the next page by the means of the arrows on the top right of the page. Also again the full Gita site is synchronized with your reading and browsing, so in the left Contents pane it will auto-expand and highlight the very verse number you are reading in right reading frame so that you know where you are in the Gita at any point of time.

The Website and eBook Search facility is spectacular and almost instant when you select the Search tab. It will also highlight the search hits for easy reference. The only thing to remember is if you want to Search a word which has diacritic marks, then you should copy that word from a page in the website or ebook and paste in the Search bar. Normal words without diacritic marks can be searched in the usual manner. We will try to release a non-diacritic version of this Bhagavad Gita at a later stage in the future. For reading the present Bhagavad Gita Website and eBook, you will require to install Balaram font in your computer from the download address given above.

You will also find a spiritual treat in the form of the Gita Mahatmya (Glories) from the Vaishnaviya Tantra Sara and by Shankaracharya. Also when you click on the name of each Chapter of the Gita, you will be able to read the miraculous glories of that Chapter as told by Lord Shiva to Parvati in the Padma Purana.

So enough of the description, we will let you go now and dive deep in the ambrosial nectarean words of the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna, which have been even more and intensely sweetened by being explained by Paramhansa Shrila Vishvanatha Chakravarti Thakura and Sacchidananda Shrila Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
