Title: question on Bhakti
Rasamrita Sindhu Bindu
User: candrika Date: 2006-08-02 08:39:41
I am really glad you are
covering this book, as it is one I read and had so many questions about and
have always wanted someone to go through it with me, so i can properly
comprehend what is being taught.
One of my questions is
this. This book describes very personal relations with the Lord, the type of
things that everyone can recognise in some respect from their own personal
dealings with other people.
And so I have always
wondered how we can have such a relationship with the Lord seeing as at this
moment in time him and his Associates are not descended in the world, and we
have books and pictures and things, but it isnt quite the same as being face to
face with the Lord, where you can actually relate to him, like we relate to the
people we have around us.
So I wondered are these
types of relation beyond any of our capacity in these times and circumstances,
and descriptions of the relations that his Associates had with the Lord, rather
than things we could experience in this day and age?

Nityananda! Gauranga!
Hare Krishna! Jaya Guru Parampara! :pranams: Pranams! and :bless: Blessings!
The relationship of the soul with the Lord is always eternal and on the
spiritual platform and the Lord is never far away from us as described in Shri
Ishopanishad. Through spiritual sound vibration of Nityananda, Gauranga and
Hare Krishna Naam, all the truths, including the direct vision of the Lord, are
gradually revealed. Then one can understand all the truths described in Bhakti
Rasamrita Sindhu. There is nothing in God that is not there in His Naam and
there is nothing in Naam that is not there in God. So everything is revealed
simply by chanting Naam with great faith. As I said earlier, they are internal
and confidential realizations and nothing to do with the dealings of this
material world.
