revelation is that one is in touch with The Real and not some concocted

My family are doing very
well and the influence of nityananda and gauranga is very astounding , my wife
, who is self admitted to being non-religious , is often chanting hare krishna
, and she says she does not know why !! Our 4 year old boy is often chanting
pancha tattva mantra now , and they quite , the 2 year old girl is often
singing gauranga , and has taken to prabhupada , often calling his name , they
are all getting attracted even unknowingly thanks to your mercy and the mercy

The 108 sverses of the
Mahastotra glorifying the holy names of Lord Gauranga and Lord Nityananda
(Hindi version) are very enlightening to sing daily. My plan is to translate
these verses into regional languages. Is there a English version available? I
have already talked to one of office collegues who said her father can take up
this task of translating it into their language. I wanted some copies (50 nos
each) of the two small booklets "What is Gauranga Dharma?" and
"Lord Gauranga in the Vedas". Meanwhile I am also looking at the

I have to say I feel very
blessed to come in contact with your preaching efforts in regards to the prime
importance of fallen souls to chant the two mantrarajas of Nityananda and
Gauranga.
For many years I have
been involved with many sangas and have always felt surpised that more stress
is not given to associating with Lord Chaitanya through His potent names and
lila.
Intuitively I always new
this should be done but it seemed that only few understood this point.
Personally I always had my nose in Chaitanya Bhagavata and Chaitanya
Charitamrita because that was where the real accessible nectar was for myself.

At one time I even went
so far as giving up associating with any sanga and started a church called
Temple of The Heart which mainly focused primarly on taking more shelter of
Lord Chaitanya and His associates.
Since lately I have been
living in India, staying more neutral and aloof from vaishnava groups. I ran
accross your web page and thought to try out the methods advocated.

Well, Let me tell you
very quickly I experienced results that went way beyond my expectations. I
thought if this chanting would work I would at least have to wait a few days as
the scriptures said that were quoted. That did not happen. Within minutes I
felt cleared of some very stuborn offenses that were keeping me from living a
life full with a mood of love, forgiveness and compassion. Obviously even though
I have been regularly chanting the Mahamantra for years as my accepted
authorities had advocated, due to my previous sins of being born a meateater
and in a western culture, I was not so qualified to develop taste and freedom
from offenses in chanting.

But by first taking up chanting the all powerful Name of Nityananda and then
Gauranga. All I can say with a heart full of gratefullness, Wow! Wow! Wow! I
feel a very close , and wonderful relationship growing with the source of these
mantras. I have the feeling that this is a small portion of what these two
transcendenal brothers want to freely offer all us degraded fallen souls of
Kali Yuga. From my heart I just want to tell this to the world what a wonderous
treat that is instore for those who take shelter in this practical and simple
way of chanting their munificiant holy names.

These are real inspiring
quotes by Swami Gauranga pada. I am new here to the discussion forums. I was
thinking that it would interesting to start a discussion subtopic about the
results devotees are getting from Chanting Nityananda’s and Gauranga’s
mantrarajas. It has been such a blessing for me and continues to be. It would
be interesting and inspiring to hear some sharings about the effects that
devotees are personally expeienceing through their own personal chanting of the
Mantrarajas.

Many Christians share in
a similar way how their worship of Jesus is improving the quality of their own
lives. Many people have joined Christianty after hearing such sharings. Of
course It especially important to hear the acharyas realizations about these
things but it can also be very inspiring to hear how Gaura and Nitai are
impacting the lives of the common folk who are taking shelter of them. After
all they came to give shelter save the most fallen. I would be inspiried to
here such personal accounts.

proposing this I will begin with my own sharing.
The following is an
exerpt from my own diary when I first began chanting the Nityananda mantraraja

Wed March 31st 2004
Yesterday I was reading
some interesting ideas on the Gauranga dham discussion forum. I got inspired to
try the Nityananda mantraraja as they recommend. For years I was always
naturally attracted to Gauranga’s lila. Intuitively I wanted to chant these
names but I did not find support from any living authority confirming the
directions I found in devotional books to do this.

The results were
fantastic as I very quickly began feeling a closness, affinity, understanding,
connection and liking for Lord Nityananda’s mood. By His mercy I got to sample
a drop of His blissful ecstactic almost drunken like madness when I began
spontaneously laughing out loud while I was walking in public chanting to
myself. I felt so drunk with ecstacy that I did not even care what people throught
of my abrupt outburst that would obviously seem a bit crazy. My My! what kind
wine is in this chanting of the Name of Nityandanda?

In a quote they mentioned
on Gauranga dharma website, from Bhaktivinode Thakur it said that in only a few
days one would get profound results from Chanting Nityananda’s name, but for me
so much mercy coming even more quickly even within minutes of chanting this
beautiful name of Nityananda. Maybe also chanting here in Radhakunda must be
giving some extra effect.

For over twenty five
years I have read the pastimes of Lord Chaitanya and felt more of an affinity
for Gauranga and more distance from Nityananda. But now that is all changed by
starting to chant Nityananda’s Holy name. I can now begin to see the immense
importance of chanting Nityananda’s holy name, because I can feel it tangably
removing stubborn offenses from my heart that I was previously unaware of and
obviously would not go no matter what other process of devotional service I was
engaged in. I did not know that there was still some resentment and blame in my
heart that I was still holding twards a Vaishnava who displayed some faulty
behaviour. I resented and blamed him for losing my relationship with my wife.
Nityananda is not only revealing this to me but he also removing it and filling
my heart with soothing balm of love and forgiveness! Ki Jay….

aspirations in glorification of his mercy.

Oh Nityananda goswami
pada! Every new day I come and sit at the door of your holy name. Knowing
better now that in truth I am only a beggar. I have nothing of value to offer
you but my full attention. I don’t even have a drop of love for you, only the
burden of sin accumulated in countless misguided lives. If you want to give me
true happiness which is the ability to taste the intoxicating love nectar that
emenates from your glorious holy name or make me sit here withering up because
of lack of this life giving water. It is up to you and your grace because
whether you give your mercy or seemingly withhold it I am your trusting
surrenderd plant and I know your actions are all absolute and always for my
ultimate benefit. What is within my real power is only to sit like a simple
hearted dog before his masters table waiting with great hope and expectation. I
do this because of hearing of Your unsurpassed magnanimous nature from those

are very happy by this chanting. We are seeing this more and more. It is now
becoming an accepted part of daily life to so many. By the fallen souls
chanting Lord Gauranga's name, we can see very clearly that they are changing and
are very happy by this chanting. Some young people are using the name Gauranga
as a general greeting whenever they meet each other, and they shout it out
loudly upon seeing each other at a distance, thus benefiting so many others in
the vicinity.
It is all your mercy,
Shrila Prabhupada. You brought Gauranga's name to the West and distributed it
freely. Now the fallen souls are becoming attached to that great name by your
sweet mercy. All glories to you, Shrila Prabhupada! You are the real mercy of
Lord Nityananda and Shri Gauranga-sundara. You are the extended mercy rays of
the benediction moon spreading throughout the world and giving spiritual light
in this dark age.
Prabhupada is our light,
nescience is darkness.
Where there is Shrila
Prabhupada there is no darkness.
Here in Scotland we are
seeing that Lord Gauranga's name is fast becoming a household word, as was
predicted. This is your great gift of mercy to the suffering and fallen souls
of this dark and perilous age. The people of Scotland are generally very gross,
but they have a great liking for this Gauranga-nama.
Thank you for engaging us
fallen souls as your tiny little servants in distributing this greatest of
transcendental gifts. When we are fully engaged in the distribution of
Gauranga-nama, there are no worries and life is very wonderful, and the fallen
souls are very happy also. What else is there for us to do? We are seeing very
clearly the amazing results of distributing Gauranga-nama, so with your
permission and much-needed blessings we beg to continue and hope that you are

our offenses and stupidity. We are actually useless, but you have kindly found

This clearly demonstrates
the scriptural injunctions that Gauranga Nama which does not consider the 10
offenses is very easily accessible, most essential and effective for the
offensively burdened grossly sinful souls of Kali Yuga and thus is the only
remedy for their deliverance.
We are seeing very
clearly the amazing results of distributing Gauranga-nama, so with your
permission and much-needed blessings we beg to continue and hope that you are
pleased.

This is just the
beginning of a new world era where we are beginning to see a tiny drop of the
amazing miracles and results of chanting the Nityananda and Gauranga
Mantrarajas. These most merciful offenseless Holy Names of Nityananda and
Gauranga are predicted and destined to bring about the pure and offenseless
Golden Age of 10,000 Years in this Kali Yuga. And we will see much bigger and
much greater mircales from the chanting of Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas
in our personal lives as well in this universe as the chanting of These Holy
Names spreads far and wide.

seeing that Lord Gauranga's name is fast becoming a household word, as was
predicted.

This was surely the
desire of Shrila Prabhupada as he has stated again and again:
Shrila Prabhupada’s
Letter to: Niranjana, Brooklyn, 21 May, 1973: “You mention that they have not
even heard of Lord Gauranga. So that is their misfortune, and our misfortune
also. _________________ in India, they could not preach Lord Gauranga’s name
all over India.”
It is not by any stroke
of sheer luck or chance that the most fortunate people of Scotland and getting
a chance to hear Gauranga's Holy Name. It is because of the unlimited
spiritually pious deeds they have performed in the previous lives that they
have taken birth in a country where Gauranga is becoming a household word.

The spoken word
There are many different
words you can chant. "Mango" has a nice quality, he says. In the
'60s, he used to chant "love, peace, happiness, freedom." But now
Sankirtan chants what he considers the sweetest sound in the world. His thin face
relaxes as he introduces it: "Gaur-Ra-Ang-Ga."
The word gauranga means
"golden effulgence," which is the radiant glow that appears around
light sources. By using this word to describe God, it becomes a spiritual
mantra.
Sankirtan has his
students breath deeply, inhale the incense wafting through the room and exhale
the word, "Gauranga." He says a good gauranga session lasts about 20
to 40 minutes and should be done several times a day.

To demonstrate the
Chaitanya School's way of meditation, Balakhilya led the audience in a number
of guided meditations: Sitting still, become aware of the rhythm of one's
breathing. Then on each exhalation chanting aloud the mantra: Gauranga Nitai
Gaur.
In the group this was
quite a centring experience. One forgot about the noises of the street. This,
we were told, was because we were using a transcendental sound, pertaining not
to the material, but to the transcendental world.

across from the biggest theater in Buenos Aires one million people go there a

that the Parliament gave Mahatmaji the building exclusive for Gauranga Dharma
programs so now Gauranga Dharma has 2 Big buildings in Buenos Aires with

devotees and does a Kirtan of Nityananda-Gauranga's Holy Names to bless the
Country of Argentina who has taken the whole mercy of Lord Nityananda and are
totally under His protection, to say the least i cried in knowing THIS IS THE
FIRST COUNTRY THAT IS BLESSED PUBLICILY WITH THE NAMES OF Nityananda-Gauranga

Nityananda! Gauranga!
Hare Krishna! You see the reason for this is that the devotees consider the
greatest miracle is the achievement of pure love for Lord Gauranga-Krishna and
all other material problems as petty and temporary compared to that. That is
why they do not talk about all the miracles happening on the material platform
in their lives.
Because once you achieve
pure love for the Lord, you go back to the eternal kingdom of God with a
spiritual body at the end of this life and thus it will be a permanent end to
all the miserable problems we have experienced life after life in this material
world including birth, disease, old age, death, poverty, unemployment, family
strife, etc. So the devotees normally talk about their realizations on the
achievement of this permanent miracle.
Also many of the devotees
in whose life these practical miracles are happening have no access or time to
post them on the Forum.
Since you want to hear
about them, I will try to post some of them as I receive them by email.
Let me start of with
some:
Bhakta Gopal Khetan
(forum id: kavitagopal) from Mumbai sold book paper worth around Rs. 1,000,000
to a person and got a draft of Rs. 800,000 or so. But the draft turned out to
be fake. So he and the police searched for the paper but no success for about
one week. Then he called me and sat down in his office and chanted the
Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas. And the police called back saying that
they have found the paper he had sold and returned it back to him. He is now in
USA. Maybe he can a write a detailed writeup about this and many other miracles
he had in his life due to Nityananda Gauranga Mantrarajas. He was not getting a
US visa and it was rejected the first time. But the second time when he chanted
the Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas and went, he got a 10 year visa which
is so difficult to get when you apply for a visa to USA for the first time.
One lady in Mumbai was so
much harrased and tortured by her husband for the past 15 to 20 years. The
husband would literally beat her up with pots, abuse her in all ways and not
allow her to chant too. Filing for divorce and getting it, is a very long legal
process in India which requires lots of funds to pay the lawyers etc. The
lawyers told her that the divorce will take a minimum of 10 years because the
husband was not ready to sign the papers. Then she called and was given the
Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas and was told to pray to Them for help in
this case. She started very seriously chanting and praying to the Mantrarajas
for around 8 hours day and on the 9 day a miracle happened. The lawyers called
her up and told her that the divorce is done even though they themselves could
not believe it how it was done so soon. They called her for signing the papers
and asked her the secret of this miracle. And she gave them the Nityananda and
Gauranga Mantrarajas with great joy. Laughing
......... there are so
many more which have happened and are happening, maybe I will keep on posting
one daily...
You see the devotees
depending on the Lord's mercy do not normally pray (because they are embarrased
to do so) to the Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas for material things
thinking them as petty and undesirable and only ask for pure love of God. So
the Mantrarajas give them pure love of God and not the things they did not ask
for.
But if someone with full
faith in the efficacy of the Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas asks practical
and material boons from the Mantrarajas, the Mantrarajas will fulfil them very
quickly and over and above that purify his or her material mentality also. The
amount of time which will be taken for the desires to be fulfiled by chanting
the Mantrarajas is directly proportional to the amount of faith we have in the
power of the Mantrarajas. Lord Gauranga Himself states that in Prema Vivarta...
antaryaami naama bhagavaana, shradhaa anusaare phala karena pradhana.
Thus we can conclude that
the fruits of our chanting will be corressponding to the extent of our faith in
the Nityananda and Gauranga Mantrarajas which do not consider any other
qualification or disqualification. And also what we ask for to the Mantrarajas
while chanting Them.

The most merciful form of
Lord Krishna is off course Chaitanya Mahaprabhu who has appeared together with
Nityananda to give hope to the hopeless living entities of Kali Yuga. Although
the hearts of the conditioned souls have become stone-like, due to the grave
offenses against the Lord and the materialistic activities, the chanting of
Nityananda and Gauranga will immediately effect the softening of the heart. In
chanting the names of Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare, Hare
Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare offenses are considered. In fact it is said
that one can chant for millions of lifetimes the Hare Krishna mahamantra, but
due to his offenses one may not experience any love of Godhead.
"But if one only
chants, with some slight faith, the holy names of Lord Chaitanya and
Nityananda, very quickly he is cleansed of all offenses. Thus as soon as he
chants the Hare Krishna maha-mantra, he feels the ecstasy of love for
God." [Cc. Adi. 8.31].
This is so because in the
chanting of the names of Nitai Gauranga there is no consideration of offenses
one will very quickly come to the stage of love of God, simply by chanting
Their names.
Shrila Prabhupada
comments, "One should first take shelter of Gaura-Nityananda in order to
reach, ultimately, Radha-Krishna. Shrila Narottama dasa Thakura sings in this
connection:
gauranga balite habe
pulaka sarira……………
In the beginning one
should very regularly chant Shri Gaurasundara’s holy name and then chant the
holy name of Lord Nityananda. Thus one’s heart will be cleansed of impure
desires for material enjoyment. Then one can approach Vrndavana-dhama to
worship Lord Krishna. Unless one is favored by Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda,
there is no need to go to Vrndavana, for unless one’s mind is purified, he
cannot see Vrndavana, even if he goes there." [Cc. Adi. 8.31, purport]

great hope and enlightenment to all of mankind. You are a burning vessel of
love and compassion whose life is totally dedicated to spreading the glories of
Gauranga and Nityananda. In this Age of Kali-yuga, when everyone including
myself is covered with the modes of nature, it is so difficult to know anything
of God. We perpetually live in sin and forgetfulness of the Supreme Personality
of Godhead, who is our only Friend and Love. Unless we take complete shelter of
Krishna in His form of Lord Gauranga, what hope is there for any happiness or
peace?
Sometimes out of
causeless compassion, the Lord sends forth his eternal associates to awaken the
population to the transcendental plane of existence. Such was the case with our
own gurudeva, Shrila Prabhupada, who was sent to fulfill the earnest request of
his spiritual master Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Goswami. He traveled the
world depending fully on His dear Lord Krishna just to wake up the sleeping
souls who were rotting in the modes of nature. Somehow, this poor beggar was
allowed to hear the Holy Names emanate from the lips of his Gurudeva and his
life has never been the same. Yet, I am insignificant and always filled with
materialistic desires. Thus my life is a failure. Just as I was drowning for
the last time, I heard the names of Gauranga and Nityananda emanate from your
lips and felt a renewed spirit wash over my body and mind. Ecstasy filled my
heart and everything my Gurudeva had taught me was again fresh. Guru is one.
The pure soul who is the embodiment of Krishna's mercy utters Krishna's name
and immediately awakens Krishna bhakti in the devotees heart. That is the
eternal process of transferring Krishna Consciousness to others.
You are such an
individual, whose heart is flowing with the mercy of Lord Gauranga and Lord
Nityananda, where there is no room for self interest of materialistic ego,
whose whole life is busy translating for Krishna and distributing Krishna on a
worldwide basis, who is 100% convinced that Gauranga Krishna and His Holy Names
are non-different, who knows without doubting that the best and only remedy for
the society of materialistic persons is the Holy Names of Gauranga, Nityananda,
then Radha and Krishna. You have no malice toward those of us who do not fully understand
your simple and straightforward message because you are confident that your
Lord Gauranga will convince us sometime soon. With keen spiritual vision, you
can see that even to chant Hare Krishna alone is difficult for the living
entities in this age, even though this is the prime benediction of the Lord.
Thus, by Gauranga's mercy, He has empowered you to teach the offenseless
chanting of the Nityananda Gauranga Mantrarajas, clearing the way for the
living entities to easily chant the Hare Krishna mantra and realize their
deepest dreams and aspirations. Unfortunately, as is common in the Age of Kali,
there are many detractors who doubt your words and authority. It is ok to doubt
until he who is speaking has proved himself with sincere action and sastric
reference. You have done both perfectly. If you were an imposter, then your
spotless character would by now have been blemished. Like a lotus sitting
beautifully on the reflective pond, you are above this world of offensive

chanting Hare Krishna is a great contribution to Vaishnavism and the cult of
Shri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. It is so refreshing to hear that our essential time
should be mainly used for chanting the Hare Krishna maha-mantra. Our spiritual
master Shrila A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the foremost disciple of his
beloved guru Shrila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaja, always encouraged us to
constantly chant Hare Krishna and distribute his books. He was also very fond
of street sankirtan. Our gurudeva was
empowered with the desire to spread Krishna Consciousness all over the world
and he strongly engaged his disciples to do the same. Sometimes ISKCON devotees
are unnecessarily criticized for their sometimes less then ingenuous ways of
carrying on the orders of their spiritual master. We are foremost a preaching
organization..
Somehow or other, our
duty is to maintain both a very high personal sadhana and an active program of
preaching to the public. Shrila Prabhupada did not encourage us to chant
constantly but rather maintain a balance of both chanting and preaching. In one
of his letters in the 1970's, he stated that if we cannot go out and distribute
books all day or perform street sankirtan all day, then we should stay back and
read Shrimad Bhagavatam all day. I do, however, very much appreciate your
ebooks because they imbibe the essence of all Vedic instructions in this age of
Kal, namely constant chanting of the Holy Names. It is, however, to be noted
that Shrila Prabhupada wanted many Temples, to offer a place for the common
person to serve both the Deity and other Vaishnavas. No doubt that to spread
Krishna Consciousness is the most challenging task for any elevated devotee of
the Lord. Shrila Prabhupada felt that his literatures were like time bombs when
placed in homes and libraries around the world. At some point, they would be
opened and read. He referred to book distribution as the big mrdanga drum.
It is my personal opinion
that we as a Vaishnava society, an arm of the Gauranga tree, must learn to
appreciate and respect other Vaishnavas who are sincerely serving the Lord.
ISKCON members should not be poisoned with an attitude of exclusivism or
feelings of superiority thinking that their guru is bona fide while all other
gurus are bogus. A real preacher should naturally feel very proud of his own
spiritual master. But the correct ontological conclusion of an advanced
follower is to show ALL respects to other Vaishnavas. If he does not do so,
then according to sastra, such a devotee is a kanishta or third class
Vaishnava. A third class devotee should never assume any position of authority
within a Vaishnava society because such persons are sure to create a
materialistic atmosphere and ruin everything for others.
It is high time for
members of ISKCON to start boiling the milk of Krishna Consciousness. Along
with their preaching zeal and missionary activities, it is very necessary for
it's members to chant purely and concentrate on sadhana. Their is no subsitute
for pure chanting. We must demonstrate that a life of preaching goes hand in
hand with the constant chanting of the
Holy Names.

conviction in the chanting process! Krishna's Holy Names are the only real
shelter in this Age of Kali. Please go on with your wonderful and gifted work
of spreading Krishna Consciousness. I hope we can continue to work together

In the past few days I
had the wonderful grace of loaning a Chaitanya
Bhagavata adi khanda
volume 2 ,with purports by Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada,from a devotee friend.
Dear Swami thank you for inspiring me to come across this glorious scripture.
My simple words cannot express how I felt today whilst reading this Chaitanya
Bhagavata. It was so pleasing to read this scripture which you are so attached
to. I realise your words and teachings about our Lords Nityananda Gauranga are

Dear Swami Gaurangapada,
Thank you for the uplifting message. I just finished my chanting for the day
and was certainly blissful. This was the second day where I would do 10 rounds
of Nityananda and then 40 rounds of Gauranga, then I chant the maha mantra 16
rounds at a time until I finish 64. I was doing 10 rounds each of Nityananda
and Gauranga until I read in one of your articles that Nityananda said 4000
names of Gauranga was necessary to recieve his mercy. Thank you
for that information. I
do take breaks to eat and listen to Shrimad Bhagavatam on MP3. Anyhow I was
sitting down and chanting for my final 16 rounds about 2:30 in the afternoon.
While I chant I play a tape of Shrila
Prabhupada chanting at a moderate level to help me concentrate and I have a big
picture of Lord Chaitanya dancing at the front of the car in the Ratha Yatra
festival with Nityananda and his other associates.
All were mad in ecstasy
and Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda had tears in their eyes and I just zoned in
on how they gave every last bit of energy and exertion to help others simply by
loving krishna so much, and I became surcharged with a feeling of thankfulness
and gratitude that my voice started choking up and tears just pored profusely
from my eyes. Every time I would go to chant again a surge of tears would come
as I looked at Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda and I wept like a little baby,
this lasted for about 15 minutes. Lord Chaitanya and Nityananda gave mercy to a
worthless illusion fools like myself, who truly are low and worthless and I owe
them everything. I can do nothing but give everything to Krishna. It was just
too much for me, thinking how much they gave for the benefit of others, as I
merged into their feeling of separation from Krishna. Thank you so much for

I am trying to realise
what mercy I received from the Advaita mercy lecture and I am thinking that
what I really gained from Advaita Acharya was the knowledge that he likes to be
known as servant of Gauranga and not worshipped separately even though he can
be considered non different and the Lord in his own right, that wasnt what he
wanted, but to be known as servant of the Lord. And his request to the Lord to
only desire that the Lord delivered the foolish abominable and fallen as his
only desire, his only benediction when he could have asked for so many material
things, he just wanted to be a servant of the Lord and for the Lord to deliver
all the fallen abominable and foolish people. I like Advaita Acharya. I like
