The supremely rasika Narada Muni plays his vina, singing the names of Shri Radhikaramana.

Hearing this kirtana, nami Shri Radha and Shri Radhika-ramana Themselves

immediately descend, dancing and tasting the bhava of Their own devotees.

bhakata-jana, saghane nace, bhariya apana hiya (2)

Like a heavy downpour, a flood of nectar in the form of Their holy names enters the

devotees’ ears, causing their hearts to expand with joy, and they also begin to dance.

madhuri-pura, asava pashi’, mataya jagata-jane

keha va kade, keha va nace, keha mate mane mane (3)

Upon drinking through the ears this inebriating nectar, all beings in the whole

universe become maddened - some weep, some dance and others become fully

intoxicated within their minds.

kamalasana, naciya bale, ‘bola bola hari bola’ (4)

Five-faced Lord Shiva embraces Narada and, filled with prema, loudly sings the holy

name while Brahmaji enthusiastically begins to dance and calls out, “Haribol! Haribol!”

sahasranana, parama-sukhe, ‘hari hari’ bali’ gaya

nama-prabhave, matila vishva, nama-rasa sabe paya (5)

Thousand-faced Sheshanaga, feeling supreme happiness, sings out, “Hari! Hari!” By the

astonishing influence of nama, the whole universe becomes maddened and all taste

the wonderful rasa of the holy name.

shri-krishna-nama, rasane sphuri’, pura’la amara asha

shri-rupa-pade, jacaye iha, bhakativinoda dasa (6)

This servant Bhaktivinoda prays to the lotus feet of Shri Rupa Gosvami, “May the holy

name manifest on my tongue, thus fulfilling all my desires.”
