Shri Chaitanya Shataka
karoti nityam yadi dharma-nishthah
tathapi dhanyo na hi tattva-vetta
gauranga-candre vimukho yadi syat
ananya-ceta-with undeviating mind; hari-murti-sevam-service to the sacred form of Hari; karoti-does; nityam-always; yadi-if; dharma-nishthah-fixed in spiritual principles; tathapi-still; dhanyah-glorious; na-not; hi-indeed; tattva-vetta-knower of the truth; gauranga-candre-unto Shri Gauranga Candra; vimukhah-against; yadi-if; syat-may be.
Even if a person serves and worships with undiverted mind the lotus feet of Shri Hari, and that person is fixed in his occupational duty, but if he is averse to Shri Gaurasundara, then he can become neither glorious nor a knower of the truth.
