subhaktidam nama harer vadanti vai
jalpanti loka bhuvi bhava-vihvala
gaure 'vatirne kali-papa-nashake
nirantara-incessantly; krishna-katha-talks of Shri Krishna; parasparam-with one another; subhaktidam-giving excellent devotional service; nama hareh-the name of Hari; vadanti-speak; vai-indeed; jalpanti-chant; lokah-people; bhuvi-on the earth; bhava-ecstacy; vihvalah-overwhelmed; gaure-Lord Gaura; avatirne-when He descended; kali-papa-sins of Kali-yuga; nashake-for destroying.
After the appearance of the son of Shaci, Lord Gauranga, in this world all the people began to always discuss the topics of Krishna amongst themselves in order to destroy the sins of the living entities tormented by Kali. They vibrate the holy names of Hari, which give devotion to the Lord, and in ecstatic love they discuss in various ways.
