vimala-kamala-vaktrah
pakva-bimbadharoshthas
tila-kusuma-sunasah kambu-kanthah sudirgha
suvalita-bhuja-dando nabhi-gambhira-rupah
sphuratu hridaya-madhye gauracandro natendrah
vimala-spotless; kamala-lotus; vaktrah-face;
pakva-ripe; bimba-fruit; adhara-ushthah-upper and lower lips;
tila-kusuma-flower of sesame; sunasah-pleasing nose; kambu-conch;
kanthah-neck; sudirgha-very tall; suvalita-very graceful;
bhuja-arms; dandah-rod; nabhi-navel; gambhira-deep;
rupah-form; sphuratu-may He
reveal; hridaya-madhye-in the core of my heart; gauracandrah; natendrah-the best of
dancers.
The moonlike words of Shri Gaurachandra are soothing like the
lotus. His lips resemble the ripened bimba fruit. His beautiful nose resembles
the sesame flower, His throat resembles the conch shell, His long arms are
strong and His navel is deep. May that Lord Gaurachandra, who is the best
amongst the dancers, please manifest in my heart.
