Shri Chaitanya Shataka
candala yavana murkhah
sarve kurvanti kirtanam
harer-namnam gunanam ca
gaure jate kalau yuge
candalah-dog eaters; yavanah-descendants of Maharaja Yavana, who strayed from Vedic culture (the Turks etc.), murkhah-fools; sarve-all; kurvanti-all perform; kirtanam-chanting ; hareh-of Hari; namnam-of the names; gunanam-of the qualities; ca-and; gaure jate-when Gaura took birth; kalau yuge-in the age of Kali.
After the appearance of Shri Gaurasundara in Kali yuga, everyone-even the candalas, yavanas, and fools-they all started to glorify the qualities of the holy name of the Lord.
