vilokya purushottamam kanaka-gaura-deho harir
muda hridaya-pankaje jalada-kanti alingitum
papata dharani-tale sakala-bhava sammurcchitah
kadacid api nengate parama-dhari samspandanam

vilokya-glancing; purusha-uttamam-the best of persons; kanaka-golded; gaura-dehah-golden form; harih-Lord Hari; muda-jubilantly; hridaya-heart; pankaje-on the lotus; jala-da-cloud; kanti-luminescent; alingitum-to embrace; papata-He fell; dharani-tale-on the earth; sakala-bhava-all ecstasies; sammurcchitah-fully unconscious; kadacit-sometimes; api-although; na-not; ingate-He moves; parama-dhari-holding the Supreme Lord; samspandanam-quivers.

TRANSLATION

Seeing Lord Jagannatha and desiring to embrace Him, Lord Gauranga, whose complexion is like molten gold, fell to the ground unconscious, stunned in ecstasy and His eyes staring.
