The woman is like fire, and the man is like a pot of ghee  (butter).  Due to the absence of fire, ghee remains hard, and  in  its presence,  ghee becomes liquified.  Similarly, a man who does  not associate with  women remains fit (for self realization), but  in her association becomes disturbed with lust.

A  wise man should engage his mind at the lotus  feet  of  the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Govinda, because they are the  solace for everyone in this world and in the next (the  spiritual  world).  Who is that foolish person who will  give up the service  to  the lotus feet of Govinda, to serve the feet of a woman?   By  the  worship  of the lotus feet of Lord  Janardana,  one  becomes  free from the cycle of repeated birth and death.

MAYANUKULENA NABHASVATERITAM

PUMAN BHAVABDHIM NA TARET SA ATMA-HA

        (SRIMAD  BHAGAVATAM  11:20:17)

The human body, which can award all benefit in life, is automatically obtained by the laws of nature, although it is a very rare achievement. This human body can be compared to a perfectly constructed boat having the spiritual master as the captain and the instructions of the Personality of Godhead as favorable winds impelling it on its course. Considering all these advantages, a human being who does not utilize his human life to cross the ocean of material existence must be considered the killer of his own soul.
