Krishna Prema Mayi Radha Yugalashtakam

Eight Verses Glorifying the Divine Couple

krishna-prema-mayi radha

radha prema-mayo harih

jivane nidhane nityam

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishna-prema-mayi—made of pure love for Krishna; radha—Radha; radha-prema-mayah—made of pure love for Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

1) Radha is made of pure love for Krishna and Hari is made of pure love for Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

krishnasya dravinam radha

radhaya dravinam harih

jivane nidhane nityam

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishnasya dravinam—the treasure of Krishna; radha—Radha; radhaya dravinam—the treasure of Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

2) Radha is the treasure of Krishna and Hari is the treasure of Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

krishna-prana-mayi radha

radha-prana-mayo harih

jivane nidhane nityam

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishna-prana-mayi—pervades the life-force of Krishna; radha—Radha; radha-prana-mayah—pervades the life-force of Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

3) Radha pervades the life-force of Krishna and Hari pervades the life-force of Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

radha-drava-mayo harih

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishna-drava-mayi—totally melted with Krishna; radha—Radha; radha-drava-mayah—totally melted with Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

4) Radha is totally melted with Krishna and Hari is totally melted with Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

radha-gehe sthito harih

jivane nidhane nityam

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishna-gehe sthita—situated in the body of Krishna; radha—Radha; radha-gehe sthitah—situated in the body of Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

5) Radha is situated in the body of Krishna and Hari is situated in the body of Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

radha-citta-sthito harih

radha-krishnau gatir mama

krishna-citta-sthita—fixed in the heart of Krishna; radha—Radha; radha-citta-sthitah—fixed in the heart of Radha; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

6) Radha is fixed in the heart of Krishna and Hari is fixed in the heart of Radha—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

pitambara-dharo harih

jivane nidhane nityam

radha-krishnau gatir mama

nila-ambara-dhara—wears cloth of blue color; radha—Radha; pita-ambara-dharah—wears cloth of yellow; harih—Hari; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

7) Radha wears cloth of blue color and Hari wears cloth of yellow—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.

vrindavana-ishvari—the Mistress of Vrindavana; radha—Radha; krishnah—Hari; vrindavana-ishvarah—the Master of Vrindavana; jivane nidhane—in life or in death; nityam—perpetually; radha-krishnau—the pair; gatih mama—my shelter.

8) Radha is the Mistress of Vrindavana and Krishna is the Master of Vrindavana—In life or in death, Radha and Krishna are my eternal shelter.
