pasu-pala-bala-parisad-vibhusanah

sisur esa sitala-vilola-locanah

mrdula-smitdrdra-vadanendu-sampada

madayan madiya-hrdayarh vigdhate

 

pasu—pala—cowherd boys or girls; bala—young; parisad—intimate group; vibhusanah—adorning; sisuh—the chird (Krsna); esa—this; sltala—cooling, refreshing; vilola-lively; locanah-eyes, gaze; mrdula-soft; smita-smiles; ardra-tender; vadana-face; indu-moon; sampada-wealth; madayan-gladdening; madlya-my; hrdayam-heart; vigahate-enters deep within.

 

This child (Krishna), who is the ornament for the intimate community of cowherd boys and girls, whose lively glances are so soothing, and whose moon-like face has a wealth of soft, tender smiles, gladdens my heart and enters deep within it.
