maulis candraka-bhusano marakata-stambhabhirdmam

vaktrarh citra-vimugdha-hdsa-mudhurarh bale vilole drsau

vdcah saisava-sltald mada-gaja-sldghyd vildsa-sthitir

mandarh mandam aye ka esa mathurd-vlthim ito gdhate

 

maulih—head; candraka—peacock feather; bhusano— adorned; marakata—emerald; stambha—than a column; abhiramam—more captivating; vapuh—body; vaktram—face; citra—wonderfully; vimugdha—very fascinating, very artless; hasa—smiles; madhuram— sweet; bale—O girlfriend; vilole—rolling; drsau—eyes; vacah—words; saisava—innate to adolescence; sltala— cooling; mada—in rut; gaja—elephant; slaghya— praised; vilasa—graceful; sthitih—nature; mandam— slowly; mandam—slowly; aye—oh; ka esa—who is this, who is He; mathura—Mathura; vlthlm—the way to; itah—along; gahate—coming.
