ahimakara-kara-nikara-mrdu-mrdita-laksmi-

sarasatara-sarasiruha-sadrsa-drsi deve

vraja-yuvati-rati-kalaha-vijayi-nija-llla-

mada-mudita-vadana-sasi-madhurimani llye

 

ahimakara—the sun; kara—rays; nikara—mass; mrdu—gently; mrdita-developing; laksml—beauty; sarasatara—with much taste, luscious; sarasiruha- lotuses; sadrsa-resemble; drsi-eyes; deve—my Lord; vraja—yuvati—Vraja—s young girls (i.e., the milkmaids); rati—smorous; kalaha—quarrels; vijayi—triumph; nija—His own; Ilia—sports; mada— exhilarated; mudita—delighted; adana—face; sasi—moon; madhurimani-sweet beauty; llye-I am absorbed.

 

Iam absorbed in contemplating my Lord,whose eyes resemble luscious lotuses gently developing their beauty under the rays of the sun, and whose moon-like face is full of beauty, being exhilarated with delight at His having defeated the milkmaids in the lovers' quarrels.
